Portrait Photographer, Kent/Auburn Washington ~ Friends

I love portrait photography.  When Kim asked me to do a session with she and her friend, Darcel–I was excited.  Kim and Darcel have been friends for a while, they might be found on a local school track walking together and talking.  Darcel has a painful back and Kim will make sure that she is comfortable at church functions.  They both go to the same church.  Darcel has plans for the images as a gift for Kim–she has not divulged her secret of what she plans to do to even me.  I am sure it will be fun and meaningful.  I have done portrait sessions of Kim and her family before so she is very comfortable around me.

It was a gorgeous day for a change so we went out side to enjoy the sunshine and take some shots.

There isn’t a lot of green on the trees yet–but it was so pleasant out.

Friends -smiling and talking.

Beautiful “tree huggers.”

Stable pals. They wanted to see the inside of the stable–not much light in there.Kim and Darcel were so fun and adventuresome–I loved the session as it allowed me to be a little more creative than usual.  I was outside the back of the stable and they are standing outside the tack room door in the sun to light them.  I love love love to do shots like this.Indoor portraits–I seriously need a different back drop–maybe a couple of them.

This was one of the most delightful session for me.  It was just fun!!

Thanks for stopping by.

About ~ ~ joanne.thomas.photographer~~

I am retired, starting a new career. I love shooting portraits. People are so fun and interesting--I try to bring out there personalities and capture them in images. Children are especially interesting little people, who love to tell you all they know and are so uninhibited. I enjoy shooting weddings to capture all the details and emotions of the day. Between photo sessions I keep shooting --to learn, to experiment--to create art. The industry is ever evolving and I want to give my clients the most exciting and lasting images, full of their love of life expressing their personality.
