Project 365

I have tried this one time before and experienced the frustrations and successes of taking a photo everyday.  I went on a week’s vacation with no access to the internet and when I got back home–and continued with my daily–trying to figure out the numbering of the images taken while I was gone along with number the dailies–oh my gosh–how confusing can that get–THEN on top of it all I neglected to add them to the group site everyday so that numbering didn’t agree with the day I was supposed to be on. I know that I know that I took and photo each and everyday–I just couldn’t prove it by numbers or uploads–so I gave up.  Such frustration–!  I decided I would give myself a break and let it go until the new year–I have now on my iPhone and printed out a calendar that numbers each day of the year from 1-365.  I will really concentrate on uploading as well as numbering and there are people who I am sure will remind me to check and double-check.

1/365 I snapped this in the early morning on New Years Day.  Wanted to give day number one done and commit to the project.

2/365 The sun was shinning on the floor in the afternoon through the french doors.  I forget that I have to make my images much brighter than what I see on my monitor so they look bright on the net.  To me this does not look warm at all.

Two days down and 364 to go—-wowwie that is a long long time.

Thanks for stopping by.

About ~ ~ joanne.thomas.photographer~~

I am retired, starting a new career. I love shooting portraits. People are so fun and interesting--I try to bring out there personalities and capture them in images. Children are especially interesting little people, who love to tell you all they know and are so uninhibited. I enjoy shooting weddings to capture all the details and emotions of the day. Between photo sessions I keep shooting --to learn, to experiment--to create art. The industry is ever evolving and I want to give my clients the most exciting and lasting images, full of their love of life expressing their personality.
