I have know Jeff for several years and just met Dina a year or so ago. Jeff and I worked together at a school and he is the life of the school–so upbeat and fun. The kids adore him. Dina deals in real estate. When Jeff discovered my daughter and her husband were looking for a house to buy–Jeff got us the hook-up with Dina. I always tagged along to offer my worthless two cents, when Dina, Erin and I were house hunting. It could be tiring at times looking at house after house–but it was always fun. We even talk about going out and looking at houses and then having lunch just for the fun of it. Dina saw some of my images on Facebook and asked me to shoot her family. I was delighted.
We shot two days in a row–due to weather and other technicalities. The kids were so excited and fun to be around. Cami is a fashion princess, with a coy look that will just melt your heart. Carson is lively and adventurous. I love that! He was hard to hold down there was so much room to run and discover things. The leaves were all over the ground by now and that just begged for a leaf fight and floppy in piles of leaves.
Sunshine–you love it because it isn’t raining and hate it because it is difficult to take picture in–Carson, who always brought his own camera took this image. He just loved having his family pose for his picture.
I shot two days in a row, the first day was drizzly and foggy –but the light was awesome–no harsh light and shadows to worry about–but the fog muted the beautiful vibrant color of he foliage. The second day of shooting was bright sunshine. The light was harsh and it was hard to get good images with everyone out of the shadows and with the eyes open. The weather was to iffy to not take advantage of the sunshine–so we shot.
I am so thankful to the Kuolts for allowing me to be a small part of their day–obeying all my requests without question and just being so flexible. I adore the kids–they are so fun and loving and lively.
Thanks for stopping by.
